Improving where old filmmakers couldn't, graphical detail exploitation is taken to the maximum level - think Spartacus, but without having to hire hundreds of people to play slaves. So where does 300 fall short? The problem with 300 is not its presentation, but its storyline. To be blunt, it's a video game. Wave and waves of enemies, a side story that nobody cares about, and a very unreasonable badass commander? Yep, that's a video game alright. 7.5/10.
