Master of All Things
Today, I end my reign of blogging terror on the design-o-sphere. In the works are some projects that I've backlogged for far too long. Expect changes here and to the portfolio, as well as a slew of new personal works set to blow your mind.

A Walled Obsession
Large walls can be a blessing or a curse. For me, it's a curse for I am constantly struggling with what to do with them.

Bohemian, Persian, Battani or Indian
It doesn't matter where you're from. As long as you're okay with me. Rugs, on the other hand, are definitely worth the trouble.

Wall Spam
I'm getting kind of obssessed with thinking of new ways to decorate my media wall (aka TV wall) in my Denver apartment. Nothing seems to work. Maybe I'm going about it the wrong way completely.

Persian Rugs x Mid-Century Modern
I've been kind of obsessively hunting around for a Persian-style rug for my place as of late. Not sure what it is, but the colorful geometric patterns of birds, medallions, and whatnot just seems to spark a vibe with me. It also makes it feel extra homey (ever since experiencing these types of rugs for the first time at my Bloomington residence.

Tuesday Idea: Tufted Feel-Good Headboards
Kinda obsessed with them. It's almost like I want everything tufted now. I should design a tufted iPhone case. That'd probably sell a few million.

10 Ways To Freshen Up Your Space
If you're like me, you're OCD about getting the space just right. When I'm stuck, I always resort to this quick and easy method of freshening up my space. I do this by:
- Moving shit around.
- Buying new art.
- Painting shit.
- Moving more shit around (on the table, furniture).
- Bringing in some nature (flowers, etc.).
- Mixing bedding sets without giving a shit.
- Adding new color via a single item.
- Cleaning the living shit out of the place.
- Taking/removing the drapes or trying something new with windows.
- Adding a mirror to brighten up shit.

Likely Incredible
I've always loved simple and modern approaches to any design problem. When it comes to the apartment, there's nothing like the incredible contrast of technology and architecture through the use of select furniture pieces that really bring out the best in every aspect of the space.

Fashionable Rentals
Just because you're renting, doesn't mean you can't deck the living s%#t out of it. Hang up huge photographic canvas prints, spread fabrics over any cold areas, and punch color into the space through decorous items that mean something to you.

A Word on Bedroom Tech
I'm currently conducting a short study of designer bedrooms for technology integration. What I have discovered so far: 1) Technology is complementary, 2) Finishes are chosen to highlight decor and 3) Serenity is built upon history. This basically translates to: "Make shit invisible by referencing to your surroundings and past."

Can I Bring It On Back
Baby, I wanna bring it on back.
Back to the time where we used to rhyme -
Times, you used to notice the subtle signs
Back, back in the time where we used to rhyme.

Back, back in the time where we used to rhyme.

Artful House Galleries
Super giggity. There's three elements I love here. The white to wood floor transition. Second, the view from the kitchen is of art. Third, Helvetica, baby.

Royalty
It doesn't take much to achieve a high class look. Muted palettes, punches of rich black, and an attentive eye for sexy natural materials. Ho-ho, I think I know what my next big project is gonna be now...
