I Wished

When I was young, I wished I was a little bit older.
But when time came, I wished I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
I wished I didn't work so hard.
I wished I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
I wished that I had let myself be happier.
Only then did I realize there was no more time for wishes.

Life After Davis, A Weekend Video Project

First test video shots with my new Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX3 camera captured in 720p. I only later realized I had bumped the exposure joystick on accident and was oversaturating everything, but I'll definitely keep an eye on it next time. Still, I think it turned out fairly decent, capturing the warm faces of graduated Davis folk enjoying themselves in glistening HD glory.

From his college days printing "Andre the Giant has a Posse" stickers from his dorm room to the Supply and Demand show going on now, Shepard Fairy is now probably one of the most famous iconic names in households today. And given how much he's accomplished in such a short amount of time, you gotta give him props for it. My man, Shep. Keep up the good work.
