Los Chicos de Barrio Give You Further Ritmo Nuttiness
In a simple Spanish translation, that means Boyz In The Hood esé! Well, what else is there to know? Nothing, really. It just sounds like a badass song to walk out of a Las Vegas casino in, wearing nothing but the slickest cholo clothing.

Panasonic DMC-LX3 Gets The Camera-phile Treatment
My newest obsession: turning high-end compacts into ridiculous monsters. The view finder is the Panasonic VF1 24mm. The wide angle lens is not Panasonic's, but a Nikon 0.68x WC-E68 which belongs to an 6 year old old Nikon Coolpix 5000 camera which used a similar system and coincidentally a 46mm ring! It works fine on the LX3 (with the DMW-LA4 adapter). The Panasonic case is sold out, so a Lecia case originally made for the Digilux-3 (equivalent to the LX2) works just fine. For the PL filter, it's a Kenko PL 46mm filter. This costs around $10 versus $80 for the Panasonic version.

Ichi The Killer Review
Japanorama meets complete, relentless insanity. Though calling it pure gore would be shorthchanging the creative style, brilliant direction, and character control done by Takashi Mike, it's still frickin' insane the level of violence seen in this movie. The portrayal of Ichi done very well and the story is left wide open for the critics to analyze years and years later. It's quite something to see the illustrated perversion of man done in such high energy and chaotic art form, and it's a definitely a movie you claim yourself to be a "well-rounded" movie watcher - just be careful with this one because it'll leave you with a little more than a bad taste in the back of your throat. 8.3/10.

Incoming Weekend, Questions Time For Romancing
Threats for burning me haven't invited themselves on my doorstep just yet. Which is a good thing since I need to seriously reallocate time for some more important stuff. Like studies, preparing for an apartment move, and playing with infinite amounts of gadgets that I will never be able to afford on my own dollar until I go back to graduate school. Keeping track of time an abstract ideal; it never stops for you, but for some odd reason, you always tend to do completely the opposite.

There's Something In Your Mouth, Madison
A bit unexpected, but this is a goddamn crazy cover.

Tell No One Review
Opening up with a natural dinner party scene, with clinking glasses and laughter, one would think this would be a low-key thriller with nothing really to offer. Yet, with this misleading introduction, you'll soon realize this is straight noir. This is frantic. It's a man searching for a seemingly dead wife, drowned in blind sorrow and possessed with hope. The casting is nearly perfect, the music a blend of U2 and romantic acoustic guitar, and the cinematography is wonderful. A terrific French effort that I highly suggest watching. 8.8/10.

Pepsi Chicken Recipe, Say What?
Yeah, I know what you're thinking, but hear me out. Amber, an Asian girl with short red hair, suggested I give it a try:
- 3 lbs boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- 1 can cream of onion soup
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can of Pepsi cola (1 1/2 cups)
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 onion
- Sea salt and pepper to taste
- Cooked rice or pasta if desired

Winnie Cooper's Teen Machine
When everything's alright... it's when I see you smile and I know I can do anything. Sound pretty emo? That's because it is son. Teenage emotions FTW!

Last Exile Review
It's a rather old series, but it's still one of the best in my personal opinion. Fans of aviation, airships, and steampunk will definitely fall in love with this series. And even if you don't like any of the above, the art direction, character development, and (my goodness) the soundtrack is the most memorable part of all. A must-watch for anime lovers and non-anime lovers alike. 9.5/10.

West Coast Love & Skateboards
There's absolutely nothing wrong with Coconut Records. They're overly poppy, sport emo haircuts, and sport cheesy vocals, but they know how to keep it real.

Legality? Pish Posh, TinyXP Rules
Microsoft's fairly old, but outright despicable plans to discontinue the support for Windows XP has not been taken lightly by Internets. Hacking gurus eXPerience have given fans of XP a new reason to cheer, their TinyXP Rev09.
TinyXP contains all the updated drivers to the day and there are several custom installation options. It’s based on XP SP3. The best thing about this is that allows you to install Windows XP without the much hated Internet Explorer, Outlook express and WMP. These are the available install options.
- TinyXP With IE/OE/WMP (With Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP With IE/OE/WMP (Without Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP Without IE/OE/WMP (With Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP Without IE/OE/WMP (Without Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP BARE With IE/OE/WMP (With Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP BARE With IE/OE/WMP (Without Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP BARE Without IE/OE/WMP (With Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP BARE Without IE/OE/WMP (Without Added Driverpacks)
- TinyXP With Repair Option (Product Key Already Filled In)
- Service Pack 3 Final (Build 5512)
- All Hotfixes Up To May 2008
- DirectX DLL Libraries (24 to 36)
- Flash Player v9.0.124.0 (IE) - / - Plugin DLL v9.0.124.0 (Firefox/Opera)
- Royale Theme (Options 1 to 4) - / - Classic Theme
The following applications are also included in CD: Acronis Backup & Restore, Hirens Boot CD 9.5 (over 200 diagnostic tools), and SpinRite 6.0 (which hunts for bad sectors and squashes them).
To top it all off; the entire cd fits on a regular 700MB CDR. Talk about totally awesome!

Kelly Tunstall & Ferris Plock Brings The Elephant
Amazing work all over at the 111 Minna gallery in San Francisco. More like a living circus, if you ask me, but you be the judge.
Big Ass Dome Lamps by Ingo Maurer
Attract more gnats and scare away vampires with this masterful piece of contemporary lighting made of aluminum stretched to 70" in diameter. More info here.
Diplo, Santogold & Amanda Blank All Go At It
More like a ghetto orchestrated ballad, the latest hipster remix is looking more and more like the gem of the century.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly Review
It's been a while since I've seen good art cinema. This film in particular deals with what it is like to have a rare physical condition, and is illustrated so well that you feel every heartbeat, isolated tear, and comedic moment that the main character goes experiences. In other words, it's pure cinematic bliss; a story told through a single eye of a paralyzed man, supported with a lovely musical score and beautiful actors. 8.6/10.

Harold & Kumar 2 Review
While intelligently fails to be present in any sense whatsoever, the formula for a night of beer drinking and outright racial laughs with the guys, there's no substitute. Though a much more worthy effort than the first in my opinion, the series continues to be riddled with fart jokes, hot tittays, and pothead humor, which is fine, but remember - it's still an adult comedy. So long as you don't think about the jokes too much (because it is pretty damn offensive, some of them), there's some good old mindless fun to be had guaranteed. 7.4/10.
