T'was great seeing all you beautiful people back at home.

I know I did a disappearing act from nearly all my old friends these past 2 years. There's been quite a few happenings, occurances, and misfortunes that I could use to explain myself, but I won't bother. It was awesome to see all the people I caught up with during the last few days, and I wholeheartedly thank you all for being there. Also, to those in Davis - you know who you are - you guys have made life in these barren fields great. Thank you everyone, my hat goes off to all of you.

Don't Rush to Upgrade Your Wi-Fi Router

The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers is working on baking the latest technology into a new standard, 802.11n. This is where the "N" in Wireless-N comes from. But manufacturers haven't been waiting for the standard to be nailed down, and started putting out "Draft-N" routers and laptop cards last spring.

There is no guarantee that this equipment will be fully compatible with the finished standard, which isn't expected to ratified until 2008. Hence, it would be a bad idea to upgrade until the new standard comes out.

Taking Back Sunday - 12 Days of Christmas

On with the holidays! I'm feeling it, how 'bout you?

Fuck MSI and everything rebate related.

I've received the opportunity of getting fucked in the ass by this wishy-washy something technology maker. Why? I sent in a $150 mail-in rebate for their stupid "promotion" for a video card and got squat! Their reason? A postmark that came in one day late of their ridiculously short 14-day rebate policy.

Lesson? Say no to mail-in rebates, no to MSI products, and no to Circuit City (they're just fuckers anyway).

Update: I have just filed a report to Better Business Bureau about MSI's business practices. Let's see if this even does anything.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII

I know, I know. The trailer is beautiful... like the trailers for Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, but the movie turned out to be complete crap. Despite this, and along with the fact that I have not completed a Final Fantasy game since VII, I am definitely looking forward to this newest installment.

Go ahead. Pull a search on her. You won't be able to find another one with a McChicken Sandwich in it.

Roller Coaster Tycooon Massacre!

Wait until Jack Thompson gets a load of this. Roller Coaster Tycoon 3 puts the laughter back into manslaughter with a bowling game of massive proportions. Nothing is more fun than watching hundreds of park goers get moved down by a runaway roller coaster cart, except of course watching hundreds of people get run over by three runaway roller coaster carts. Columbine simulator this is not.

SHARP AQUOS LC-32D50U. A beauty among beauties. Currently this set retails about $1199, around $600 less than from what it was listed a few months ago. Nonetheless, a steep price for digital eroticism.

Drop another $600 and I'm in for one.
