Rarely do films that surround a taboo subject pull off a movie worth watching, but Boogie Nights may be the only exception I can think of. All characters are memorable, the camera work is fantastic, and there's enough substance here to call it more of a movie that's character progression than pointless gratuitous violence and sexual themes. Though I am not at all doubting the presence of those things, it's a fun watch. A bit long, but entertaining nonetheless. 8.3/10.
