Van Damme hasn't seen much light these days. I mean, who could really come back up after Street Fighter? Well, good news Van Damme fans because he's gone through some kind of rennaisance transformation. Okay, he's still playing a dirty cop with a bad attitude, but you'll be surprised at how entertaining it is despite being a straight up B-movie. It's grimy, dark, and paves the way for his reinvention as an actor. Just don't expect that John Woo shit - this one has heart, great characters, and *dun dun dun* a story? Yeah. 8.3/10.
